When I came across this video I couldn't help but feel sad for the mothers(and dads) who have lost their children recently in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Here's Joan Baez performing at the Operation Ceasefire Concert in Washington DC on 24/9/2005 ,
nearly three years later not much has changed!

I feel for the parents who have sons and daughters in all war zones. It could so easily be one of us.
Loss is always hard and especially of a child, whatever age that child is.
