I've posted this video for no other reason than that the tune keeps running through my head.

I remember in the mid 1970's a one-time boyfriend of mine would sit on my living room floor in my council flat near 'Mornington Crescent' singing and practising playing this song with his guitar for hours on end ...apparently there are some really tricky bits.

lovely choice .I've not been able to get on either as I've broken my foot and had to move to my new bungalow quicker than intended so no landline or broadband yet. I have a dongle now though

I've not actually sat and properly listened to this before...i've heard it but just let it wash over me. Now that i'm actually listening i'm in awe of it!!
I think that happens too much with popular songs, they lose their impact until you suddenly appreciate them fully again.

  I agree Ronky, when it was on the radio it is just a pleasant hummable pop song but when you really listen to it, the range of notes in Johnny Nash's voice shows it for the clever song it is
